Auto Repair in Castalia, OH

Castalia, OH

The village of Castalia, OH, is located in western Erie County, close to the Resthaven Wildlife Area. A small population of fewer than 850 people live in Castalia, across just one square mile of land.

Castalia was first laid out in 1836 and named after the figure in Greek mythology. Today the village is known for a few local water features, including the Castalia Duck Pond that never freezes. Many birds live around the pond, even more so during winter when waterfowl relocate because of frozen Lake Erie. Castalia Trout Club and Castalia State Fish Hatchery both operate just north of town. In terms of fun, the village takes pride in its annual Cold Creek Festival, held the third weekend in July along Main Street.
